Well, I've never actually watched Oprah, but now she is watching our show - The Twitter Show, that is. It is good that we still have the choice of whether or not to "watch" her in this format, as well. Not to sound geeklitist (geek elitist), but I don't know that media mogul/talk show host/celeb/philantrophic wunderkind is really a good fit with the majority of tweeps and their reasons for tweeting. If it is information gathering, she has people to do that for her and present nice, tidy packets of same. Information dissemination? She has a machine that puts Twitter to shame in that department. So, why? I guess that's my question back at you. Why is she on Twitter? Is it like climbing a mountain? Because it is there? I've always found that to be a piss poor reason, but then again, I'm about as deep as your average kiddy pool, so what do I know.

More opinions, please!!

I've never been an Oprah fan, find her off-putting for many reasons, although I do respect her for overcoming her traumatic childhood. Given that bias, no, I don't think this is a good thing, proof being that Twitter has been non compos more often than usual this week.
