How to Take a Screenshot on Your iPhone or iPod Touch

In yesterday’s TechByte, someone asked how I took the screenshot on my iPhone for the post. It’s actually very easy. To capture the screen image or take a screenshot using iPhone 2.0, iPhone 3G(s), and iPod Touch 2.0, just press the “Home” button and “Sleep/Wake (On/Off)” key at the top of the mobile device simultaneously at the same time very quickly and release. You will hear a “flash” sound, the screen will flash and an image will automatically be saved and stored in your photo album on your iPhone of iPod. From there you can email it, text it, use….

Because when in France, you spell it "Café" – iPhone Tip

Now you probably have mastered how to use the QWERTY keys on your iPhone for spelling and punctuation, but did you know there are even more special keys? Especially if you are looking for non-English punctuation marks? In order to find the character you are looking for, let’s pick an easy one and look for the “é” in Café. When you are ready to type café, say perhaps in an email or a text message, simply type “caf”, hold the “E” for a little bit until you see more choices horizontally, and glide your finger to choose “É” from the menu…..

Add a "." Before Your Tweet so Everyone Can See Your @ Reply Dialog

If you use Twitter, you will see that it allows users to see a reply only if they are following both sides of the conversation. But, if you want everyone to read and engage in your @replies to another person, just add a period “.” before the tweet so everyone can see. Even if people are not following the other person, they can still see your tweet!
