There are many ways you can volunteer at Boot Camp and we are always in need of committed people! We have openings for techy volunteers as well as non-techy. Guess what just came in the mail? My friend Jessica Beauchamp from Geeky Clean Soaps created and sent me the coolest soap for every geek girl! It’s our very own Geek Girl Brain Power Cherry Lemonade Soap! Complete with brain! And it smells so good! The best part about it is that it is another item we will be able to sell to raise money for educational scholarships, update and fix old computers to women in need, as well as for other fundraising events in the future. Geek Girls Give Back! Over 3K in Scholarship Money Donated

At our recent “Networking Social | Social Networking” Event on Tuesday night, I was so happy to hand out 2 $1,500 checks to two very worthy women’s scholarship organizations from some of the proceeds we made from our very successful “Tech Boot Camps”; Cape Cod 2009 and Boston/South Shore 2009. The recipients are the American Business Women’s Association Cape Cod Chapter (ABWA Cape Cod) and the South Shore Women’s Business Network Educational Foundation (SSWBN Ed.
